At this young age it is hard to say who he looks more like. One thing is for sure he is a handsome "little man" . Wednesday - August 13th 07 Thursday - July 26th 07 Naomi has done it & early! She is now a Mummie with the arrival of her son, Alexander Peter Schreiber. He arrived slightly ahead of schedule, weighing 8 pounds & 4 ounces. Robin Baum, Watts publist said "The parents are ecstatic, and both Mom and baby are doing great". Media reports said they were resting at a hospital near Watts' home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood. Monday - June 11th 07 Naomi Watts and long time boyfriend, Liev Schreiber have secretly wed. That was buzz going around on the red carpet at the Tony Awards in New York on Sunday. When reporters quizzed them about their marriage plans, Schreiber had a shock in store. He said, "We are married." But the private actor refused to give up any more information as to when and where the pair exchanged vows. The couple's is expecting their first child in August.
Friday - May 25th 07 Naomi has been very busy this month. She attended the New York Premiere of Crazy Love on May 23rd. She & Liev also attended New York City's 52nd Annual Drama Desk Awards at LaGuardia Concert Hall on May 20th. The couple also attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City May 7th. Naomi started is "attending" party with the Escada Beverly Hills Flagship Boutique Opening event held at the Beverly Wilshire May 3rd in Beverly Hills, California.

Eastern Promises has been nominated for 3 Golden Globe Awards.
Naomi has been lined up to appear in "The Da Vinci Code" prequel alongside Tom Hanks. The King Kong star will play the female lead in the Ron Howard-directed Angels And Demons, reports New York gossip column PageSix. But filming on the movie has been postponed until February (08), as a direct result of the Hollywood writer's strike. Sources claim Oscar-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldman's script still needs work, and he is on strike with his Writers Guild of America brethren. The film bosses have also put the movie's release date back from the end of 2008 to 2009.

Her best mate tied the knot in Sydney last year - now it seems Naomi Watts is keen to follow Nicole Kidman's lead and get hitched in the Harbour City too - and soon.
The Hollywood rumour mill is busy circulating rumours the Aussie actress and boyfriend Liev Schreiber (pictured with Naomi) are speeding up their nuptials plans and are hoping to get married Down Under this year.
It seems the big-screen beauty, who revealed earlier this year she was pregnant to Schreiber, is keen to walk down the aisle before she gives birth in late December, according to a report in the New York Post.
Apparently a friend of the couple told the paper that Watts � who hooked up with the New York actor in 2005 � has started making wedding arrangements and is confident they will be able to organise the special day in time.
But because of the rush, the friend claimed Watts and Schreiber were resigned to making the wedding an intimate affair and holding a big bash after the birth.
"There's not enough time to plan a big wedding," the friend claimed on the weekend.
"They'll have just 25 guests for the nuptials in her hometown of Sydney, with a lavish wedding reception for all their stateside friends after the baby is born."
Watts' representative declined to comment on the service speculation but, if the reports are true, Watts will have no trouble tracking down plenty of her A-list friends for the big day.
Two of Watts' closest friends are currently in the country, with actor Russell Crowe living in Sydney and Kidman back home to film Baz Luhrmann's upcoming epic Australia. From Sydney Confidential

Tuesday - March 13th 07 Naomi is set to star in a romantic comedy based on the true-life tale of a year spent with students at a school for trainers of rare wildlife. The film will be based on Amy Sutherland's book Kicked, Bitten and Scratched: Life and Lessons at the World's Premiere School for Exotic Animal Trainers, according to Variety. The tome centres on the year the writer spent at the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College in California, where students are taught to look after camels, emus, baboons, cougars, wolves and snakes. As of now no director or other stars of the film's cast have been chosen. There's also no start date for the film, but its likely to be 2008 at the earliest since the Australian actress has just announced that she is pregnant.
Monday - Feburary 26th 07 The rumours are true! As most of us expected. Ms. Watts is having a baby. A publicist for fashion company Escada has inadvertently confirmed she is pregnant with her first child. Last night a representative for Escada, who designed Watt's Oscar gown, sent out a press release saying, "The Escada gown set off her most precious new asset - the baby she is expecting with longtime boyfriend Liev Schreiber." Congrats to Naomi & Liev!

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2006 are handed out on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at the Kodak Theatre. The Oscars will be televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5 p.m. PST (8 p.m. EST), beginning with a half-hour red carpet arrivals segment, "The Road to the Oscars."
Monday - Feburary 12th 07 Naomi & best friend Nicole (Kidman) of nearly two decades are scheduled to reunite in Ryan Murphy's (creator of nip/tuck) new sexy thriller Need. The last & first time these two were in film together was in the film Flirting.
Wednesday - Feburary 7th 07 Naomi and Liev (Schreiber) are expecting their first child together, according to media reports in the US. The Australian actress, 38, and Schreiber, 39, have been dating for nearly two years and she is reportedly just entering her second trimester. A source tells American publication In Touch, "This wasn't planned, but Naomi and Liev are thrilled."

Naomi attended the "The Ring 2" premiere at the George Street Cinema last night in Sydney, Australia. Due to her current filming commitments on Peter Jackson's "King Kong" this red carpet premiere will be the only one in the world that she will attend for the film.
Naomi is currently enjoying the Sundance Film Festival in Salt Lake City, UT. Along with Scott Coffey, Chevy Chase and Rebecca Riggs she appeared at the permiere of Ellie Parker.
Naomi will be joining Brad Pitt, Robert DeNiro, Andy Garcia, Hugh Grant and many other tonight on television. The program is scheduled to air live at 7 p.m. on NBC, Telemundo, Pax and various cable channels. This part of NBC Universal TV benefit for tsunami relief.
Ellie Parker is being shown at Sundance in the 2005 Sundance Film Festival Dramatic Competition. Sundance is between January 20th & January 30th!
Naomi will be a presenter at the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards taking place in Calforina on January 16th. Check out the message board for photos from this event.

Naomi atttended the Australia Film Insitute Awards which took place at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne Friday night. She was also honored with the AFI Global Achievement Award.
The gorgeous Aussie is due to arrive in Melbourne straight from the King Kong set in New Zealand, in time for the Australian Film Institute Awards next Friday. Despite being on the top of everyone's marquee wish-list for Derby Day, Watts won't be sticking around for long, she leaves the next day.
